Painting 28mm historical miniatures

During this past year, I started as a new hobby to fill some extra time I had.

The inspiration to do this came from needing a way to unplug and channel the energy I found myself converting into outrage at the current social climate.

I found a lot of peace and learned tons of patience while painting, and for those reasons I’d suggest you try doing something artistic and creative too.

Even if you stink, tomorrow you will stink less and you might even find yourself doing something you find truly gratifying.

Today I invited a small group to a trial painting tutorial to see what age range I could possibly offer this type of activity to.

Watching such a wide age range take so quickly to the trial workshop was really interesting. The kids painted their hearts out and only occasionally broke concentration to exclaim a new detail and personality trait their respective characters would have.

More photos to come!

If your child would like to participate in our next painting tutorial, we have one scheduled for August 28 (sign-up 2 weeks in advance; by August 14).

If you are an adult who would like to try something similar, please contact Ethan for more info: [email protected]
