Ken Jones Centre

The Ken Jones Centre is a place where people with special needs, specially adults with intellectual and physical disabilities, get together once a week to socialize with each other .The program is held every Thursday between 8:30am-2:30pm at the Missisquoi North Youth centre and is designed to give families and or caregivers a day of respite.
Our Thursdays are filled with social and leisure activities such as :

Indoor bowling at the centre as well as 5 outings a year at a Magog bowling alley
Live music
Story time
Spiritual hour
Birthday celebrations
Games(bingo, puzzles, etc.)
LOTS and LOTS  of visiting amongst each other
And so much more.

Please note some of our activities have been put on hold due to the Covid-19 Pandemic.

In December, the KEN JONES Centre committee holds an annual Christmas luncheon, with Santa, for the clients, their families, caregivers and volunteers as a Thank you for their support, and in June, we are all treated to a spring BBQ.
Everyone is encouraged to visit the KJC and see what a happy family we are and how much fun we have .
